Here’s a closer look at some of the groups we stand behind.
Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project serves post-9/11 veterans, service members, and their families, with programs covering mental health, career counseling, physical wellness, and long-term independence. Veterans face a difficult transition when they return home, and organizations like this one exist to make sure that transition doesn’t happen alone. Supporting this work is one way we try to show gratitude to the people who’ve served.
Sierra Club
The Sierra Club is one of the oldest and largest grassroots environmental organizations in the country, working on issues ranging from clean energy policy to protecting wild spaces and natural resources. We carry eco-conscious products ourselves, so backing an organization focused on long-term environmental protection made sense to us.
National Kidney Foundation
The National Kidney Foundation raises awareness of kidney disease, funds research, and supports patients and families dealing with a kidney disease diagnosis. More families are affected by this than most people realize, and putting money toward research and patient support is a direct way to help.
Business Professionals of America
Business Professionals of America is a national organization that helps students in business, technology, and related fields build real career skills through competitions, certifications, and leadership programs. We were built on hard work and the belief that opportunity should be available to people willing to put in the effort, so supporting students working toward the same thing was an easy call.
Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is the largest and oldest business organization in Broward County, Florida, and it works to strengthen the local business community and advocate on its behalf. We have a presence in Fort Lauderdale, so supporting the Chamber is one way we stay connected to the business community there.
